Email “On Vacation” Message

Here is an example “On Vacation” auto-reply email message you can use to notify people who send you an email that you are on vacation.

The first line thanks the person for contacting you.
Here it is in hiragana: ごれんらくをいただきありがとうございます。
And in romaji: gorenraku o itadaki arigato gozaimasu.

The second line indicates the dates you are on vacation.
Here it is in hiragana: おそりいりますが7がつ9にち(げつ)~13にち(きん)はきゅうかをいただいております。
And in romaji: osori irimasu ga 7 gatsu 9 niti (getsu) ~ 13 niti (kin) wa kyuuka o itadaite orimasu.

The last line basically translates into “sorry for inconveniencing you…” but it is just a common ending used when a person is taking time off (or asking someone else to do something for them.)
Here it is in hiragana: ごふべんをおかけしたいへんもうしわけありませんが、よろしくおねがいいたします。
And in romaji: gofuben o okakeshi taihen moushiwake arimasen ga, yoroshiku onegai itashimasu.

Just change the dates, and the day of the week, and you can use it whenever you need to.
